In 1988, Steve and myself along with Stuart Austrie, Lloyd Bertrand, and Peter Remy, launched our first record label called Zoo Experience Records.
None of us had any record label experience, but what we had was a passion to succeed. So off we went acquiring a fleet of 5 offices on the Commercial Road in East London.

We were all massive Burgess fans so it was an easy choice who we would sign for our first release.
We commissioned Leroy to a 6 single deal, and we wanted to get him to record some singles that he had written with Sonny Davenport and James Calloway for other artists.
Those tracks were, Fonda Rae's 'Over Like A Fat Rat'- Rick James 'Big Time' a new recording of Barely Breaking Even, and 3 new compositions.

Over Like A Fat Rat was a tune Leroy first wrote for Fonda Rae and was released I 1982 on Vanguard Records. On the new project Leroy acquits himself ably assisted by ex-Orange juice Jones vocalist Tyrone Williams
