With a passion ignited from a young age, Angelo's journey into music began with the sweet melodies of the violin, recorder, and keyboard. He recalls trying to play the keys to the music he listened to on the radio and his mother's record collection that filled his childhood home with joy. Growing up in North London, Angelo's mother played a pivotal role in shaping his musical taste. Every Saturday, the house resonated with the vibrant rhythms of Portuguese Pop Music, Brazilian Samba, and Disco, filling Angelo's heart with an insatiable love for captivating tunes. Inspired by the pulsating energy of nightclubs and the electrifying performances of DJs in his later teenage years Angelo yearned to be a part of this vibrant world.
Fate intervened when DJ Ramsey a family friend invited Angelo to witness the magic of DJing firsthand at an event called Numb Nums which was held monthly at the legendary EC1 Club. The experience left an indelible mark on his soul, igniting a fierce passion within him to become part of the underground family. With unwavering determination, Angelo purchased his first house track on vinyl, laying the foundation for his musical odyssey. Angelo's talent and dedication propelled him to London Underground 89.4 FM, where he hosted a weekly show. His infectious energy resonated with listeners, and he soon became a fixture in the London club scene. From Camden Palace to Astoria, Colosseum, and his weekly residency at Cheeky B's,
Angelo's music reverberated through dancefloors, captivating audiences with his electrifying performances. However, life's twists and turns led Angelo down a different path. He pursued a successful career in recruitment, but the music never left his heart. He continued to nurture his passion, buying vinyl weekly and attending clubs, eagerly absorbing the latest sounds. The legendary Louie Vega's performance at the Ministry of Sound for an event Soul Heaven rekindled Angelo's burning desire to share his musical creations with the world.
With unwavering resolve, Angelo enrolled at the University of Westminster, earning a foundation degree in Music Production and Music Business. His exceptional talent and unique style caught the attention of his tutors, who recognised his potential. He then embarked on a degree in Advanced Music Production, Music Composition, and Advanced DJ Performance at Point Blank Music School, where his innovative approach to music continues to inspire and amaze.
