With an incredible 37 years dedicated to the art of spinning records Groover Washington is truly one of the original pioneers of dance music on the South Coast. His legacy is cemented by his long-standing residency at the legendary Sterns, and his iconic joint victory with Carl Cox at the Battle of the DJs in Bournemouth back in 1989.

His exceptional talent has also taken him to perform regularly at esteemed venues & promotions such as

For eight consecutive years Groover served as a Saturday Night Resident at the legendary Empire Club in Bognor Regis. Additionally he has successfully promoted his own event Southern Exposure for the past 30 years.

2014 Groover was invited back to Fascinations “London” to assume the role of Resident DJ.

2016 he became We Are Balearic Resident DJ.

2018 he returned to Sterns for a second stint as Resident DJ.

2019 Groover was appointed Official DJ at Return To Heaven.

Furthermore he was officially recognised as an Official DJ at Groove Odyssey London / Ibiza / 51st State Festival.

2021 also saw Groover became an Official DJ at House FM - The Home Of House Music.

Having collaborated and shared lineups with a who's who of house music royalty. Groover brings an unparalleled depth of experience and an undeniable energy to every set.
