MARTIN GALE

Martin has been behind the decks for over 30 years, first discovering dance music as a teenager playing hardcore on vinyl. Since then his musical journey has taken him through garage, soulful house, disco, deep house and timeless dance classics, always guided by his belief that the best music moves the soul as well as the feet.

Known for his warm, friendly style and dedicated preparation, Martin has presented more than three hundred radio shows, interviewed dance music icons including CeCe Peniston, Ultra Naté and Barbara Tucker, and supported artists such as Craig Charles, Mica Paris and Kenny Thomas. His reputation around Southampton has been built over decades, from intimate garage vinyl sessions in local pubs to a five-year residency at one of the city’s premier cocktail lounges.

Martin plays the records he genuinely loves, believing that authenticity is what creates the strongest connection with a dancefloor or a radio audience. His sets and shows blend contemporary soulful house with the classics that inspired generations, creating an atmosphere where his goal is that everyone feels welcome.

Away from clubs and studios, Martin is a passionate supporter of local charity fundraising events, regularly donating his DJ skills, time and music to help raise money for the local hospice and hospital. His love for music also extends into his day job, where he has played corporate events at prestigious venues such as the ExCel London, Manchester Albert Hall and the Salesforce Tower in London.
