Michael Grierson, known to the dancefloor as The House Poet, brings close to 30 years on the UK club and festival circuit to your mornings. He has played Ministry of Sound, Boiler Room, Boomtown, Camp Bestival, Groove Odyssey Ibiza, Sundara Ibiza and Deaf Rave. Born and raised in Forest Gate, East London, he blends great music with spoken word, a sound built to get you out of bed and moving.

Michael has been part of the House FM family for six years, so Breakfast Club is a proud moment. The new show broadcasts on House FM London DAB and hse.fm every Monday, Thursday and Friday from 7 to 10am. Expect disco, rare grooves, house, jungle, garage, classics and more, with positive energy and the odd poetic moment to start your day right.

Away from the decks, Michael is a public speaker, educator and founder of Deaf Jam Project, a community music initiative championing inclusion and accessibility across the arts. He is also resident DJ for the Cure Usher Ball, and runs music industry workshops in schools and colleges, passing on what he's learned on the circuit to the next generation.
