Rising from the bars & clubs in & around London, Jay Moss lives and breathes music.
Jay, although a late bloomer to the scene compared to others, has steadily built up from having a passion for sound – to going full steam ahead with pushing out his own take on what makes people jump and bounce.
Growing up in the late 80’s and through the 90’s set a great base for soaking up all electronic music and getting right into the thick of the underground scene. Avidly listening to the classic pirate radio stations ‘back in the day’ with a dream of gaining the expertise & knowledge to someday master a set of decks and a mixer.
Starting out on various pirate radio stations to cut his teeth, then went onto a number of digital platforms to further cement ties in the music scene. Being part of a duo ‘Souled:Out’ has also helped greatly his furthering a hardened foundation in the House music scene.
Being self taught in almost everything, Jay has not only gained vast experience in entertaining and catching the ears of a crowd through DJing in some of London’s great venues and spaces, he has also ran his own events & brands across town. The latest being ‘Preloaded’ – a free entry event, bringing House, Soul, Funk & Disco to the party loving Capital.
Jay’s musical tastes and influences vary widely and include Soul,Funk & Disco to Minimal & Tech House, Breaks & dubs all the way to Jungle and Drum & Bass. But his main love stems from House & Techno.
Jay is widening his tools of the trade and has started to produce tracks.. Keep an eye & an ear out!!
